So, this is love :)

This is a continuation of when Ian and I first started out (find that here).

So, after he accepted my friend request, that was about all that happened. I was busy with summer school work (and trust me, there was TONS of that! So thankful to be done with those classes) and he was busy with work (I guess, I never really asked what he had been up to...unless I did and I've forgotten, which I tend to do).

After I finished all of my summer classes and I had a small break, yet still working, I wanted to let my brain go mushy for the short time I had and that always steers me in the directions of Netflix. I searched for a new movie to watch to get lost in and I somehow stumbled upon TV shows and something caught my eye. This is when I first laid my eyes on one of my favorite TV shows....I think you should have guessed it by now...yup....Doctor Who! I was an instant fan (check this post).

To make a long story short....I, being who I am, posted a status on FB talking about how I was in love with this new show....and to my surprise, I get a comment from a guy (pretty cute guy if you ask me) and after a strand of 10 comments back and forth, I message him privately and give him my digits bc the notifications were buggin' me, so why not text?

Who knew that all would lead us to where we are today? We've been texting/talking nonstop (literally, we haven't missed a day...except a week right at the beginning...of talking to each other) for 9 months this coming Friday. The day that marked history was the day I got this amazing text from him:
And of course I said YES!

I'm am so blessed to call this man my boyfriend and so thankful that God has given me such an amazing man :)  He's been there to help me through some of the darkest of days and some of the most stressful moments and always guiding me with God's Word and loving me even through all my faults. He is my other half and I don't know how I've lived so long without him! He truly is an answer to my prayers :)

This man has my heart and I his. There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for such a wonderful man. I love you, Ian, more than words can say. :)

See you in 4 days my love!

Bowties Are Cool

Summer school is finally out!
(ok, so it's been out since last wednesday, but still)

Since I now have so much free time, I honestly don't know what to do with myself.
It's quite pitiful if you ask me. A girl who doesn't know what to do with herself until school starts...and actually waiting for it to begin again...

I have some serious issues - don't judge.

Since I have absolutely no idea what to do with myself, I turn to the next best thing - watching tv shows on Netflix. Yes, I know, too much tv...blah blah blah.

Just let me explain myself

I have discovered (ok, technically I didn't discover this, but just hear me out) a tv show that has grabbed my attention and won't let go, and I don't want it to. I swear I'm in love, but again it is just a show. Only those that understand, would have guessed by now just reading the title of this blog, and yes, you're right! The name of that show is:

It has fascinated me in every episode! It's extraordinary!! Absolutely brilliant! You should seriously look into it, I'm not trying to make you into a fan, but if you love sci-fi movies/shows/anything then you might really enjoy watching the story unfold!

David Tennant, if you're reading this, you were my favorite! I absolutely loved your take on the doctor and I was sad when you regenerated, but Matt Smith, you're doing a great job!!

I am now a Doctor Who fan and plan to convert my friends (just a little warning)

Disclaimer: I was not manipulated in any way to write this review of Doctor Who, this is just my honest opinion. Just making sure that all of you know that I will not in any way try to manipulate you into watching this show.*

*I lied, you have to watch it. At least one episode. Please :)

Latest Obesseion

Lately I've been watching a show on Netflix that I've come to love! It makes me laugh my head off every time I watch it and I also get an interesting history lesson along with it, and if you know me, you know I despise history...but, they make it fun and interesting! I would love to work with these guys just get a good laugh here and there and learn a bit myself.

These 4 guys are just hysterical! They're real, mean, funny, and you can tell they love each other no matter how much they pick at one another. Especially Corey, he picks on Chumlee all the time, but Chum is a sweetheart and I can tell the guys love him, even though he's always the guinea pig when it comes to trying out weapons that come into the shop.

If you don't know what I'm talking about then I'll just show you...

PAWN STARS
Left to right: Corey, Rick, Chumlee, The Old Man

I absolutely love this show!! It airs on the History Channel (you have to figure out the times yourself), so I suggest you give it a watch! It'll get your ribs ticklin' and you'll find out some really interesting facts about things that you've probably never even seen before.

Watch a few episodes and I swear you'll be hooked like me!

Now back to my Netflix tab to finish the "Aw Shucks" episode :)
